For Wet Hair

Use a wide-tooth comb rather than a brush for wet hair because the bristles on brushes are too dense. A wide-tooth comb is more gentle on wet hair and if a brush or a narrow-tooth comb is used, then the hair will rip or break from the bristles because hair becomes more vulnerable when wet.

> Wide-tooth combs don’t work for your hair type?

This is a wet brush that is designed for wet hair. The bristles are widely spaced out so running it through wet hair will less likely damage the hair compared to regular brushes. A classmate of mine, Lexi Krog, has thick hair and recommends a wet brush for detangling wet hair. She uses it all the time and, for her, it works better than a wide-tooth comb.
